Acids and Chemicals Purification By Activated Carbon
Acids and Chemicals Purification By Activated Carbon
Activated carbons are usually used to decolorize and purify organic acids and amino acids in acids and chemicals manufacturing. Examples of organic acids that activated carbon can treat include: Formic Acid, Acetic Acid, Propionic Acid, Succinic Acid, Oxalic Acid, Lactic Acid, Malic Acid, Benzoic Acid

Advantages of YICARB Carbon for Acids and Chemicals
Advantages of YICARB Carbon for Acids and Chemicals
YICARB has been developing a serial of activated carbon products for the manufacturing and processing of acids, providing capability for purity and the removal of impurities, odors, and colors. Specific grades of our Granular Activated Carbons (GAC) are specifically designed for treatment in acid applications. Our wood based activated carbon can be used during batch processing to decolorize product and remove impurities. Some selected activated carbons are acid washed to remove acid soluble ash in preparation for use in the acidic environments.
